Natick, Mass. – (December 6, 2021) – Ken and Kara Harvey, Co-Founders of The Elder-Well® Adult Day Program, are proud to commemorate the one year anniversary of the grand opening of their Natick Center location.

The Harveys invite the community to a celebratory holiday open house on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 1pm until 4pm at its 12 Washington Street, Natick site. The open house will coincide with the Natick Center Cultural District’s Holiday Stroll.

“One year ago, Ken and I opened our Elder-Well® flagship location in Natick. Despite opening our doors during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, we now have a vibrant and thriving senior care business which is nearing capacity,” said Kara Harvey.

She added that they look forward to opening a second company-owned location in Massachusetts and “expanding our growth through franchising our adult daycare concept.”

The Elder-Well® Adult Day Program’s core services include group and individual therapeutic and educational activities; health and wellness monitoring; community outings and presentations; nutritious meals; and gentle exercise programs. Support for activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) are provided as well as specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia supportive services for clients and their caregivers.

“For those who were not comfortable joining our in-center program during the pandemic, we proudly established our Elder-Well At Home™ program, an extension of our day services to provide in-home activity companions,” said Ken Harvey.

Elder-Well At Home™ services include client wellness and home safety evaluations; client-specific planned activities for one-on-one interactions; an Elder-Well® virtual session to participate in activities taking place at the Elder-Well® Adult Day Program; and client choice activity in the comfort of their own home and/or community.

“Ken and I are so thankful that we have created a place where older adults living with a memory impairment can be supported, develop new friendships, feel part of a community and enjoy spending the day with others,” added Kara Harvey.
